I personally was born with dead straight hair. When I was a little girl I desperately wanted curly hair, so I used to pray for it every night (seriously!). Then one day I got my wish. My hair actually started going curly, and has stayed that way. Well, it was probably just my curly hair genes kicking in (my mom’s side has curly hair).
